Traits
Small Wings (Mythical Quartus)
Small Wings protruding from along the spine. Only two, lupinus cannot fly.
Standard Build lupini can only have wings on their back.
Horns (Uncommon)
Horns are bone or keratin extrusions from in and around the head. There is no rarity to choose for bone or keratin, nor do they affect formation, type or length.
Bone horns are generally very natural colors ranging from white, black, gray, cream and brown. Once broken they do not reform. A body modification trend with bone horns is to carve intricate details into them, and sometimes those carvings are filled with metal.
Keratin horns are far more unique in coloration, ranging from metallic (looking, not real metal) to resinlike, so on and so forth. They can shed off and regrow, but any modifications (such as metal melting) will be shed with it.
Split Ear (Rare)
This ear has a split where there appear to be two separate ears. However, both parts are connected to the same ear base and should not be confused with the Multiple Ear trait.
- Cannot be used with Lop, Heartcurled, Jagged ear types
Dual Wings (Mythical Secundus)
Wings where one is feathered and the other is batlike.
Elongated Fangs (Uncommon)
The center-most canine teeth are elongated past the chin. Can come from top, bottom or both and cross over. Sapius form will always show this trait, though normally shortened to remain proportional with the Sapius body.
Multiple Eyes (Special)
1-8 more eyes than the base two that can only be around the face and chest. Eyes can have different pupils and sclera so long as the traits are included in the masterlist details.
- Only the traditional two eyes will account for Heterochromia, Dichroicism and Slitted Pupils, and therefore those effects.
- Special trait exclusive to Halloween adopts and customs from Albino. Some special designs might feature the eyes elsewhere on the body, these are exclusive to Albino's designs.
Multiple Ears (Special)
Multiple ears, a lupinus may have 4 ears total unless on a special body type that permits more.
- Special trait exclusive to Halloween adopts and customs from Albino.
Large Wings (Mythical Secundus)
Large wings protruding from alone the spine. Only two, lupinus can fly.
Standard Build lupini can only have wings on their back.
Medium Wings (Mythical Tertium)
Medium wings protruding from along the spine. Only two, lupinus cannot fly but can glide.
Standard Build lupini can only have wings on their back.
Iridescent Fur (Exclusive)
Fur with an iridescent, pearlescent or otherwise similar sheen to it. Please note that generally silky/shiny hair/fur does not count, it must be specifically a natural, colorful sheen much like the scales of a rainbow boa. See Enfys for reference.
Collusus (Rare)
Mutation where the lupinus is larger and more muscular than the average lupinus. More often than not, claws cannot sheathe for those with this mutation.
- Those with this mutation can have an additional 2 points to ATK and DEF each when leveling up. This happens by default, the owner cannot pick either or or opt out.
Keratin Growths (Legendary)
Mutation where there are keratin growths that sprout from any point of the body in truth, but usually along the spine, shoulders and the like. These, like keratin horns, can shed and regrow, as well as be shiny and unnatural in design. Usually don't deviate from being smooth spike shapes.
Double Tails (Mythical Quartus)
Mutation where the lupinus have two tails. Tails must have the same plumes.
Double Plume (Rare)
Mutation where the tail has two different plumes. Some plumes cannot be doubled up. List of plumes that can be mixed...
- Mane x any plume that resides at the tip of the tail
- Rump x any plume that is not at the bottom/base of the tail
These plumes cannot be mixed at all:
- Shiba
- Spectre
- Pom
- No Plume (for obvious reasons)
Bioluminescence (Mythical Secundus)
The lupinus glows, can be eyes, within their skin, paw pads, etc. The bioluminescence has to be natural, no glowing tattoos or unnatural markings allowed!
Please note that while it won't be considered under the bioluminescent trait itself, there is what's called the "bioluminescent marker" - a recessive form of the trait that allows for a 25% chance for bioluminescence to be inherited by offspring. This has a very faint, often unnoticeable glow. Because of this, please note two rules:
- Biolumi marker is a restricted trait only allowed by royal artisans.
- The specific marking resembling stars like the below examples are strictly unallowed unless in the case of the biolumi marker being present. Depictions of moons or suns do not count as a biolumi marker, only stars.
Shaped Ear Tufts (Legendary)
Tufts that take on a shape different than the typical reverse tear drop shape.
- This can be anything from a star shape to a fish tail. Please check with a mod first if the shape you'd like to use is permissible, however.
Tapered Fur (Rare)
A texture of fur which is thin on the body and lacks any longer fur.
