Lupi Ears

Lupi Ears (Common)

The most common ear type. These ears are triangular in shape and end in a point.

Folded Fringe Ears

Folded Fringe Ears (Retired)

Category: Ears

Ears that fold where they connect to the head. The inner parts of the ear have a lace-like pattern of bumps that fold inward. They cannot straighten.

  • Retired as of: 5/6/2024
  • Any breedings with a Lupinus with this trait cannot receive this trait.
Spade Ears

Spade Ears (Common)

Category: Ears

These ears droop on the bottom of the ears to form a slight curve. The top of the ear is straight. The tip of the ear can either curve upwards or downwards.

Fringe Ears

Fringe Ears (Uncommon)

Category: Ears

Similar to folded fringe ears, these ear types have lace-like patterns of bumps that fold inward. However, these ears are straight.

Curled Ears

Curled Ears (Uncommon)

Category: Ears

These ears can curl slightly inwards at the tip or curl into a more tight curl, but not so much that they swirl in on themselves.

  • These ears cannot have tufts.
Wave Ears

Wave Ears (Uncommon)

Category: Ears

Ears the bend and tilt slightly downwards. The top of the ear is curved.

Bun Bun Ears

Bun Bun Ears (Uncommon)

Ears that are straight at the base and curve at the ends.

  • These ears cannot have tufts.
Arrow Ears

Arrow Ears (Rare)

Category: Ears

Ears that start as straight at the base and then about halfway down the ear, they curve inwards and form a barb shape before curling back out to form a point at the end.

Jagged Ears

Jagged Ears (Rare)

Category: Ears

Ears that make a sharp zig-zag sort of fold as it stretches from tip to tip. These are not fur growths, just extra ear cartilage.

  • These ears cannot have tufts.
Long Ear Tufts

Long Ear Tufts (Rare)

Category: Ears

This is the only ear type that can combine with other ear types. This ear type has fur grow from the very tip of the ear.

Butterfly Ears

Butterfly Ears (Legendary)

Category: Ears

Ears that grow out to look like feathers in shape. These are not fur growths, but are actually part of the ear cartilage.

  • These ears cannot have tufts.
  • As of 5/6/2024, this trait has been changed. Any current Lupinus designs with this trait have been grandfathered in and don't need to be changed. However, if thier masterlist images are ever updated, the trait either needs to be changed to the new butterfly wing or the trait needs to be changed to fringe and have a claim filed to receive a legendary trait potion as compensation.
Heart Ears

Heart Ears (Legendary)

Category: Ears

Ears that droop at the base, unlike other ear types. These ears hug the chest and form a pseudo-heart shape. These ears are quite long seeming because they do not stick out.

  • These ears cannot have tufts.
Lop Ears

Lop Ears (Legendary)

Category: Ears

Ears that fall from the base of the head. Like heart ears, these ears are quite long.

  • These ears cannot have tufts.
Short Ear Tufts

Short Ear Tufts (Common)

Category: Ears

This is the only ear type that can combine with other ear types. This ear type has fur grow from the very tip of the ear.

Medium Ear Tufts

Medium Ear Tufts (Uncommon)

Category: Ears

This is the only ear type that can combine with other ear types. This ear type has fur grow from the very tip of the ear.

Very Long Ear Tufts

Very Long Ear Tufts (Legendary)

Category: Ears

This is the only ear type that can combine with other ear types. This ear type has fur grow from the very tip of the ear.
