Traits
Folded Fringe Ears (Retired)
Ears that fold where they connect to the head. The inner parts of the ear have a lace-like pattern of bumps that fold inward. They cannot straighten.
- Retired as of: 5/6/2024
- Any breedings with a Lupinus with this trait cannot receive this trait.
Spade Ears (Common)
These ears droop on the bottom of the ears to form a slight curve. The top of the ear is straight. The tip of the ear can either curve upwards or downwards.
Fringe Ears (Uncommon)
Similar to folded fringe ears, these ear types have lace-like patterns of bumps that fold inward. However, these ears are straight.
Curled Ears (Uncommon)
These ears can curl slightly inwards at the tip or curl into a more tight curl, but not so much that they swirl in on themselves.
- These ears cannot have tufts.
Bun Bun Ears (Uncommon)
Ears that are straight at the base and curve at the ends.
- These ears cannot have tufts.
Arrow Ears (Rare)
Ears that start as straight at the base and then about halfway down the ear, they curve inwards and form a barb shape before curling back out to form a point at the end.

Ears that make a sharp zig-zag sort of fold as it stretches from tip to tip. These are not fur growths, just extra ear cartilage.
- These ears cannot have tufts.
Long Ear Tufts (Rare)
This is the only ear type that can combine with other ear types. This ear type has fur grow from the very tip of the ear.
- Tufts cannot grow on: Curled, Lop, or Heart ears.
- Tufts must be on all ears if the ears are Butterfly or are the Split Ears or Multiple Ears mutations. Can be different lengths.
Butterfly Ears (Legendary)
Ears that grow out to look like feathers in shape. These are not fur growths, but are actually part of the ear cartilage.
- These ears cannot have tufts.
- As of 5/6/2024, this trait has been changed. Any current Lupinus designs with this trait have been grandfathered in and don't need to be changed. However, if thier masterlist images are ever updated, the trait either needs to be changed to the new butterfly wing or the trait needs to be changed to fringe and have a claim filed to receive a legendary trait potion as compensation.

- Tufts cannot grow on: Curled, Lop, or Heart ears.

Medium Ear Tufts (Uncommon)
This is the only ear type that can combine with other ear types. This ear type has fur grow from the very tip of the ear.
- Tufts cannot grow on: Curled, Lop, or Heart ears.
- Tufts must be on all ears if the ears are Butterfly or are the Split Ears or Multiple Ears mutations. Can be different lengths.
