The Deities
Solaria Lore and Records
Celestials
Celestials are often seen as the "good" deities, those of life and love, but of course this isn't true as all deities are wholly neutral beings. That being said, the Celestials reside within the stars of Aeterna's body, the children of All. Not all Celestials are the Initia Elementa, or the "First Elements", but the majority are after the Fall.
Pronounced "as-trah ay-ter-nah".
Tya "Life Mother" : Firstborn of the Initia Elementa and considered one of the oldest deities; one of the few deities that is wholly referred to using feminine pronouns and terms. Tya is the deity of nature and flowers, and Solaria is in fact her own godly domain, her body as it were. Out of all of the deities, she is the only one with unconditional adoration of the life her domain houses, protective and kind, but balanced and fair all the same. Though the lupini are not of her own creation, she's often considered their matron deity as a whole.
Pronounced "tī-ya".
Infernus "Infernal Destruction" : Also commonly referred to as "Inferna" or uncommonly referred to as "Exitium", Infernus is the thirdborn of the Initia Elementa and is the deity of the fire element. An almost universally disliked deity (by the other deities) - all save for Tya - due to their abrasive personality. They are well known for their dislike of the lupi species, though it is understood that they willing taught them how to wield their element for their own survival.
Pronounced "in-fer-nuhs". Inferna "in-fer-nah" or Exitium "eks-ih-shee-um".
Tempestatis "Of The Storm" : Tempestatis is the secondborn of the Initia Elementa and is the deity of the water element and storms. Tempestatis is seen as very elusive and avoidant of all mortal affairs, but like Infernus they too willingly gave the lupinus species water and the ability to wield it. It's said that Tempestatis threw themself into solitude when [OG] sacrificed herself to the corruption, distraught that their very own creation was gone assumably, forever. But this is only a tale, one unconfirmed.
Pronounced "tem-peh-stay-tiss".
Fulminus Ruina "Ruinbringer" : The fourthborn and final deity of the Initia Elementa, the deity of the air element.
Pronounced "ful-min-uhs roo-in-ah".
Amare "Love of All" : Amare is the only Celestial Mortal Aspect left, and is one of the youngest major deities. While no other deities seem to have friends, Amare is seen as a dear friend of Tya.
Pronounced "ah-mahr-ey".
Fallen
The Fallen were once Celestials as well, but when Infiniti fought Aeterna the Mortalis Aspectus, or the Mortal Aspects, fell from the stars into the body of Infiniti, trapped and forced to care for the lupinus species as malicious consequence for opposing the Queen of All. The Fallen reside in the Afterlife, a plane only accessible through Aeterna's Will and the Gate located somewhere in Lunairea. The Fallen are also responsible for maintaing the souls of lupini, dead or alive, and either destroying souls or bringing them back into existence for another lifetime by piecing different souls together to make a new one.
Pronounced "in-fin-i-tee uhl-tim-ah".
Destyne "Destiny" : Destyne is the deity of knowledge, wisdom and secrets; and is the only other deity to definitively go by he/him pronouns aside from Infiniti. Destyne is one of the patron deities of the Moonlit Ink Dragons - aside from Lumine and Revive - the only major deity to be responsible for the Creation of any Solarian species aside from Aeterna Itself. Destyne is the most detached from all other deities and deeply interested in the lupini species, being as close to them as is Tya. This is the only deity that isn't exactly as connected as the other Mortalis Aspectus are in their use for the lupini species, though if he knows why, he isn't indicating such.
Pronounced "dess-tīn".
Initium "Writer of Fate" : The writer of stories and the patron deity of artists, writers and archivists. They say everyone's fate was written as their soul was being put together, and while anyone can change their fates, it doesn't change the fact that one's original fate will forever be part of them. Initium was the patron deity of the Fateweavers, a species of lesser-deity-like beings that have since been banished from their godhood, turned into little more than pests.
Pronounced "in-ish-ee-uhm".
Forte "Chance" : They are the deity of both luck and chance, and the patron deity of thieves and rogues. Many argue that Forte is the true deity of death and not Vitaetmors, as one's life could be longer or lesser than expected, because everything in life is left to chance.
Pronounced "for-tay".
Vitaetmors "Life and Death" : Deity of mortality, the birth and the life and the death of a lupinus all being entrusted to them. It's believed by many that Vitaetmors and Tya are lovers, due to the conflict between Amare and Tya. Though not nearly as much as Tya, Vitaetmors is also one of the only deities that has any true care for the lupini species.
Pronounced "veet-et-mor".
Timore "The Fear" : Timore is the deity of fear and survival, and is the absolute youngest deity of all the majors. They're one of the most disliked and forgotten deities due to the very definition of fear itself, which brands it as an evil deity. This is false of course, all deities are neutral, but that hasn't stopped lupini for disrespecting this great deity... of course, they're too scared to complain about it, so the dislike goes on forever unaffecting them.
Pronounced "tīm-or".
Lesser Deities
The lesser deities are those usally made of any of the major deities with the esception of Aeterna and Infiniti, save for one minor deity.
Solus Aurora "The Lone Dawn", of Aeterna: Aurora is the deity of the solar star, Saph, which itself is a godly domain. Aurora is one of three deities with a godly domain, but Saph is not regarded as a source of life like the solar star of the Milky Way galaxy is. Saph is instead more of a binding that holds the godly domains within Aeterna together. Aurora is also the only deity of Aeterna not considered a major deity.
Aurora is the matron deity of the Sunlit Dragons.
Pronounced "so-luss ah-ror-ah".
Lumine and Revive "Revival of Light", of the Initia Elementa : Lumine and Revive, twin deities, are the only lesser deities to be born of more than one major deity - instead being born of all four Initia Elementa as a way to bring balance to Solaria. In the beginning, Solaria was dark, then when Aurora came into being it was eternally light. Some even believe that Aeterna's trail could be seen during the eternal days, but if that were true, no mortal beings know. The twin moons, Lumine and Revive's godly domains, are known as "Lo" and "Cresce", with Lo, the larger moon, usually placed in front of Cresce from the view of Solaria, as if protecting it from collapsing into the domain. Lumine and Revive's ability to manipulate the gravitional pull of Solaria's elements, such as the oceans, served to help [OG] in her sacrifice, but that resulted in what is called the "Blood Eclipse", where once every decade, Cresce falls in front of Lo, both moons red. Story goes that the red is due to Lumine bleeding over themself and their brother Revive, who themself stand between Lumine and Solaria as if to protect him instead.
Lumine and Revive are the patron deities of the Moonlit Ink Dragons alongside Destyne.
Pronounced "loo-min-eh" and "reh-vīv". Lo "lō" and Cresce "cress-ah".
[Ocean Goddess], of Tempestatis : "Daughter" of Tempestatis, deity of sacrifice and protection and patron deity of Alteans and pirates. [OG] sacrificed herself when the Corruption took root in Solaria, using her own body as a sort of vessel to harness the Corruption so that it would not spread to Lunairea and Altonica. Due to this she lost her mind and in her madness is highly dangerous to all living things. Her will to protect Lunairea and Altonica wins out, but those foolish enough to cross into her waters will be devoured by her if not by the corruption she fights to keep at bay. Some lupini even consider her a daughter of Tya, but that's not confirmed.
Silva "Flora", of Tya : While Silva is inherently the lesser deity of the flora side of nature, they have no power over flowers themselves. Silva's mark is hidden in all plants, be it in the sap of trees, the curve of a leaf or the scent of herbs, you'll always find them within. Silva is more aligned with Tya than Vitaetmors. It's thought that Bestia and Silva are siblinglike but not twins as Silva is far older than Bestia.
Pronounced "sil-vah".
Bestia "Fauna", of Tya : Sometimes referred to as the "mother of beasts", let it be known that Bestia has nothing to do with the sapient species of Solaria - lupini, dragons, faeran and alteans - they only have to do with the lesser beasts and monsters. It is said that in the depths of every beast's soul, Bestia can be seen, living through all of them. Bestia is more aligned with Vitaetmors than Tya. It's thought that Bestia and Silva are siblinglike but not twins as Bestia is far younger than Silva.
Pronounced "bees-tee-ah".
Other
Perhaps deities once, or perhaps just relevant enough to be listed in these archives...
Fateweavers, of Initium : Once a grand species of godlike beings that helped sew the threads of fate alongside their patron, Initium, these forsaken souls have been exiled from their godhood and turned into little more than pests to the beings they once determined the lives of. It's said there's one left, the only one who still has the mind of a god if not the power of one: the leader of the Fateweaver race now cursed to watch his kind be ignored by their once beloved patron and reduced to... this.
