CL-Mission-Gold-Eyed-Tree-Frog-155: Nami
Nami | They/Them | Young Adult
A strange lupinus who seems more interested in making friends with the frogs.
Immediately, you can tell that they are quite shy. While they seem to be able to hold up a conversation when presented with it, they aren't much of a talker and would rather not. Well, they don't seem to be much of a talker, anyway. They're scared of large crowds, so they often spend their time in the wilderness, around their local ponds and lakes. Over time, they've become fascinated with frogs. And for some strange reason, they talk to frogs more than they speak to others of their own species. Frogs are just easier to get along with, at least to them. One way to get them talking is to bring up frogs, because they likely won't quit talking about them for hours, showing you all their little frog friends that they've named.
They likely have a reputation for being "strange," and may or may not be viewed as crazy by their peers. It's gotten to a point that others don't really try to talk to them anymore. But, if you were to make the time to get to know them, you'd see they're actually pretty decent to be around. They're gentle and considerate, but, they dislike conflict of any kind, and don't know how to communicate very well. They often walk out on others when they get too overwhelmed. Not to be malicious, it's in a more "I'm scared and don't know what to do" kind of way. They just don't know how to handle their emotions and often need time to cool down on their own. This happens most often in large crowds, as they get super easily overwhelmed by them.
